Troubleshooting
No streams appearing
Symptom: Stream list is empty when selecting a title.
- Confirm addons are installed — go to ⚙️ Settings → Addons and verify your addons are listed and active
- Verify your TorBox API key — go to torbox.app/settings?section=account and confirm the key matches what was entered in the Bootstrapper. If it has been regenerated, re-run the Bootstrapper with the new key.
- Test with a popular, recent title first — niche content may have fewer sources
- Check TorBox service status — occasional maintenance may temporarily affect availability
Buffering or playback interruption
Symptom: Video begins playing but pauses or stops.
- Select a lower-quality stream — choose a smaller file (e.g. 1080p WEB-DL instead of 4K REMUX)
- Try an alternative stream from the same list — performance can vary between sources
Bootstrapper changes not appearing in Stremio
Symptom: Addons are not visible after running the Bootstrapper.
- Wait 30–60 seconds, then log out and back in to the Stremio app to force a sync
- Confirm the Bootstrapper was authenticated with the correct Stremio account
- Re-run the Bootstrapper — it is safe to repeat
TorBox API key not working
Symptom: The Bootstrapper or a TorBox addon rejects the API key.
- Ensure the complete key was copied — check for leading or trailing spaces
- Log in to torbox.app/settings?section=account and confirm the key shown matches what you're using
- Click Get New API Key to generate a fresh one, then re-run the Bootstrapper
