How it all works
Stremio app → Addons → TorBox cache → Your screen- You search for something in Stremio
- Your addons look for torrent sources for it
- TorBox checks if it already has the file cached on their servers
- If cached — it plays instantly. If not — TorBox downloads it quickly in the background.
- Stremio plays it as a direct video stream
Cached vs uncached
Most popular content is already cached on TorBox, meaning it plays within seconds. New releases or niche content may take 30 seconds to a couple of minutes on first access while TorBox downloads it.
